Sunshine, Tea and the people I miss most

Some of my most favourite people in the world live far, far away from me in Sydney. A few months ago, as our time at Hill Street was coming to and end a few of them came from over the oceans and the land to enjoy and assist in ceremonies of transition and friendship. Tea and coffee on Glebe Point Rd basked in sunshine; tandoori lamb burgers at the Vic on cold winter evenings; wrapping delicate objects in newspaper and placing them in boxes marked with a big red FRAGILE. Come visit again soon, I miss you. xx

Mama-daughter collaboration

I was looking through a folio of my mama's old drawings when I found this funny little pattern she had scribbled on some paper with biro of owls and flowers. I immediately liked it and set out refining it and adding colour, with this image as the result.
